Do Alerts expire each year?

Alerts expire on the date set initially when the alert was entered. Typically legal alerts may expire on a certain date, or at the end of a school year. Medical alerts should be set to expire on the last day of school of the student year of graduation, unless they are temporary conditions. If the alert is no longer showing up in a new school year, open the alert and adjust the expiration date to a future date.
