To turn on the Bullying System options in iPASS, the Bullying Parameters must be set to enable teachers and/or administrators to use the Bullying System.
Go to Discipline System > Discipline Maintenance > Discipline Parameters > Bullying Parameters.
When ‘Enable administrators to use Bullying System’ is checked off, the Add/Modify Discipline screen will display ‘Is this a Bullying incident?’ (Y/N). Select Y to indicate the Behavior Record is for a Bullying incident. Then select ‘Is this student an Offender or Victim?’
NOTE: The 7.0.20160421_sync patch release going out April 21, 2016 is changing the text from ‘Does this incident involved victim(s)?’ back to ‘Is this a Bullying Incident?’ and changing the options for ‘Is this student an Offender or Victim?’ back to Offender/Victim instead of Aggressor/Target. When the Behavior Record is submitted the incident record will be indicated as a Bullying incident and indicate if the Behavior Record is for the Offender or the Victim.
When ‘Enable teachers to use Bullying System’ is checked off, the iTeacher > Enter Behavior Referral screen will display ‘Is this a Bullying incident?’ (Y/N). Select Y to indicate the Behavior Record is for a Bullying incident. Then select ‘Is this student an Offender or Victim?’
NOTE: If your choice is ‘Does this incident involved victim(s)?’ set to Y to indicate that it is a Bullying incident. This screen text is in the process of being changed to ‘Is this a Bullying Incident?’
