The login page is changed to look more like a web site. The login form can be found in the left column. A link to the Ticket System will appear in the left column for specific users. Links to documentation and FAQs will take users to our current web site.
It offers public information including Public Events, Announcements and News. The data displayed in all of these areas comes from the database.
A new User Type “TicketUser” has been added. Any user assigned this type sees a link to the Ticket System in the left column:
The Events box in the login screen displays user configured events to the public.
Customers create event types to use to drive this display and list the names in the Parameter TEAM/System/DisplayEvents, e.g. Social,Sports,LunchMenu.
The Events page can display today’s events or events covering a range of days.
The Parameter TEAM/System/Display Event Days Before specifies the number of before today to show events for. The Parameter TEAM/System/Display Event Days After specifies the number of past today to show events for
For example, if TEAM/System/Display Event Days Before and TEAM/System/Display Event Days After are set to zero, only today’s events are displayed. If they are set to one, then yesterday, today and tomorrow’s events are displayed.
If there are no events to display then a message is displayed. If a Text Message named “System Login NoEvents” is defined, this is displayed. If not, then “Have a good day today.” is displayed.
The Announcements box in the login screen can be used to present announcements. If Text Message named “System Login Announcements” is defined, the content is displayed. If not then “Today is a good day to learns something new.” is displayed.
The News box in the login screen can be used to present school news. If Text Message named “System Login News” is defined, the content is displayed. If not then “We are educating America’s Finest Students.” is displayed.

The Links box in the left column of the login screen can be used to present special school related links. If Text Message named “System Login Links” is defined, the content is displayed.
